Television is a very different world today than it was even 10 years ago. Netflix streaming, Amazon Prime video and others are pumping out mini-series and films. Premium cable channels like HBO and ShowTime are facing competition from every side including AMC and FX. Hulu has original content. Disney has announced that they are breaking from Netflix and cable companies and creating their own platform. The consumer is the winner in terms of a great deal of content but it can also be a bit overwhelming.
My friends have Netflix Streaming and Amazon Prime and want to know what to watch next. Most of them also have HBO and ShowTime. I have tried to send them to my IMDB reviews but I’m not able to indicate there where the shows I have reviewed can be found.
I have always loved film. I enjoy talking about what I have recently seen on social media. This website allows me to refer to more information than what fits in a tweet or other social post. You’ll find me on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Clubhouse @LindaSherman.
I rarely post blogs. For updates please check the genres or platforms of interests. I add new things to watch as I watch them.
The focus of this TV Reviews site will evolve. Today, I am using it as a place to put brief commentary on shows I recommend be they mini-series, long series, films or broadcast TV shows. I have recommendations by genre that are of importance to me. Initially, I launched with Docudramas, Documentaries and Sci-fi. I am shortly adding Aging Well and Comedy. I also have recommendation pages for Netflix Streaming, Amazon Prime Video and other platforms. All of my recommendations are available via your “TV set” or tablet in the comfort of your own home. Some for specific genre’s, such as docudramas, with the help of a DVD player. Much of what I watch, I watch with my beloved husband, Ray Gordon, so you will get a man’s point of view on many of these items as well.
I am passionate about intellectual property rights and would never use a service that allows film downloads illegally, so you will not see those options on this site.
